The weather outside was frightful, but the fire was so delightful.  Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

This and That

You have all probably seen enough of the ice storm but I'll add my 4 pictures worth.

While we were snuggling by the fire, 

Sawyer remembered what he did at 5 months old.

This poor birch tree is still leaning.  I hope it recovers.

Holiday Party at the Priestly's

We went to a Holiday Party at Laura and Brian's over the weekend.  I didn't get too many pictures because we were chasing Sawyer most of the night.  Brian made a delicious meal and dessert as usual.

Our Big Night Out

Dave and I had a night out on Friday.  Normally, this would not be worth mentioning but Sawyer stayed at Brad and Clarissa's for the night and we haven't left Sawyer overnight in over a year.  He had a great time there and we had a wonderful night out.  We went to The Melting Pot for dinner Friday. Saturday we had a shopping day together. 

This was probably the only time he was still!

Clarissa made cookies with Sawyer on Saturday.

Sawyer learned a few things while we were away.  

How to get into a rocking chair was one of them.

Sawyer wasn't on his best behavior the entire time.  

A Huge THANK  YOU to Brad and Clarissa for keeping our

 little monkey overnight!  They even said they'd do it again.

Emma's 1st Birthday Party

Sunday, November 30th was Emma McCoy's 1st Birthday.  We can hardly believe it was a year ago that we held this little peanut for the first time.  She is so, so, so sweet.  We love that Emma and Sawyer are close in age. They'll be buddies for life!!
